- Apply the dry pencil to watercolor paper. Then blend with a wet paintbrush. The more water you apply, the paler the color.
- Dip the pencil tip into water and apply directly to the paper for more vibrant color.
- Apply clean water to the watercolor paper. While it is wet, add pencil color. The colors will blend themselves, leaving you less control and a more organic look.
- Use them dry, just like regular colored pencils.
