What is the difference between the kneaded eraser and the white poly eraser?

Use a kneaded eraser to remove heavy or loose graphite or charcoal. Work the eraser into a ball and press it over the graphite, charcoal, or pastel to lift those materials off the paper. You can also use this eraser to blend and smudge lines. A white poly eraser is best for sketching and drawing. Rub the paper gently until the pencil is removed.
