You can hear beautiful music compositions playing in the background when appreciating her artwork. And yes! This talented artist performed everything herself. Kinga is good at many musical instruments, from piano and guitar to recorders, pipe organs, and harp. Did I mention she also sings? Just like painting, music has been an indispensable part of her life. “I paint with emotion just as I compose, play, or sing. There is color in visual images, and there is color in music. That is the essence of my creation.” said Kinga “I also find joy in painting animals and the love and affection are visibly present.” She painted this bunny sketch with her favorite painting medium——soft pastel ——because there are only tender strokes in pastel but you can still see the clear light and dark areas in between the colors. “Painting in pastels gives me an immediate connection with my art. It is a sensory experience, with the pastel sticks being an extension of my hand. Soft pastels offer the purity of color which is a reigning force in the rendering of my subject. It is through color that I can fully express the feeling behind each protection”
